Our Story

TIANA  and MIKE

On what seemed to be an ordinary Monday in December 2018, Tiana’s coworker, Allison, walked into the teacher’s lunch room and told Tiana she wanted to set her up. Tiana never imagined that she would go through with a blind date, let alone that it would be with her future husband! 

It all began the weekend before when Allison and her now-husband Chuck, Mike’s boss, had a chance run-in with the both of them: first on Saturday with Tiana at the House of Blues, then on Sunday with Mike at the Eagles bar in Boston. Realizing that they could be a great match, Allison made it her mission to get them together. She enlisted the help of a hesitant Chuck to make it happen.

A few months later, Tiana and Mike had their first date at Earls Kitchen and Bar in Somerville where they sat at the bar for hours getting to know each other. The rest is history.

Over the last four and a half years, the bride and groom have been lucky to travel to some amazing places together. From Nantucket and Portland, to Saint Martin, Hawaii and Jamaica, it led them all the way to Iceland in November of 2022 where Mike got down on one knee. When it comes to seeing the world together, it only makes sense that Mike and Tiana have chosen to tie the knot in Tuscany. 

The future Mr. & Mrs. Jacobs are excited to welcome you to join them as they check off another destination on their bucket list and begin a new chapter in their lives together as husband and wife!
